Custom Boat Wraps, Vinyl Lettering & Decals

Design It Wraps & Tint has been providing the First Coast with high-quality vinyl boat wraps & lettering since 2013. Whether you have a Nor-tech day yacht, donzi, sport fishing team boat, or pleasure craft, we can custom design a wrap or graphic to enhance or protect your boat. Our trained technicians are educated to ensure the latest techniques in custom cut and fit for our commercial clients.

Everyone knows boats can be high maintenance. Boat vinyl wrap can cut your annual maintenance budget and provide additional benefits as well. The finish on fiberglass boats oxidizes and requires buffing and compounding, which can be expensive. A boat wrap will:

  • Protect the finish and eliminate oxidation without any buffing or compounding required
  • Protect the hull while helping to fight against those inevitable scratches and bangs at the marina

They provided us with some yard signs for our company. We had changed our mind on the sign, and they were very accommodating! Super nice, and got it done 1 day before their estimated time of completion. Highly recommend them to everyone! Pelican Painters and More signage in pic!

Amazing experience! Brent is very knowledgeable and his team works extremely hard to get things done efficiently! We dropped it off and two days later everything was ready to go. Very friendly as well! Highly recommend! We will be using them soon for our other Prius!

Frequently Asked Questions

While there are always exceptions based on the complexity of custom designs and requests, it takes 2-3 days to vinyl wrap a boat in most cases. Custom design processes can take anywhere from two days to three weeks.
Boat wraps are made from a thin vinyl material – the same vinyl that’s commonly used for storefronts, walls, cars, and other decorative purposes. However, not all vinyl is created equal. There are specific types of vinyl film that are preferred for wrapping boats. At Design It, we work with industry-leading film manufacturers, including Avery and 3M.
Yes – any type of vinyl wrap can be removed from whatever surface it’s applied to. However, it’s important to note that the higher the quality, the easier it is to remove. To remove vinyl wrap from a boat, it must have been applied properly. The person removing it must do so very carefully, using a heat gun and peeling back the vinyl. If it isn’t hot enough, the vinyl won’t come off. Conversely, too much heat will result in a mess of vinyl and adhesive that’s difficult to remove.
No – while the wrap’s adhesive is strong enough to hold the wrap on the surface, it’s also gentle enough not to damage it. On the other hand, a vinyl boat wrap will actually protect the boat’s paint from harmful UV rays. In this sense, a vinyl boat wrap can preserve the paint, keeping it looking as good as it did the day it was installed.
A high-quality, well-maintained wrap can last anywhere between 3 and 8 years. In any case, replacing a boat wrap every four years is recommended.
